Yankee Trace Dines at Austin Trace

Austin Trace Health & Rehabilitation had the opportunity to host Yankee Trace locals at a neighborly event last month on Thursday, July 15th. Yankee Trace Connection's Rhonda Meeker asked our skilled nursing facility to host our Yankee Trace locals for a meal and restaurant review outing. Our team was eager to welcome our community with delicious meals and top-notch hospitality. We started the evening in Rosie's Diner, where guests sampled our delicious "Blue Plate Specials" that included homemade lasagna, meatloaf, and a vegetarian pasta dish with tasty sides. Our very own Chef Matt beautifully prepared these three choice menu options and followed them with a superb Bananas Foster dessert with candied walnuts and vanilla ice cream!

After dinner and door prizes, our neighbors moved to Sweeney's Pub to enjoy some great music. We brought in Mr. Chris and The Cruisers, who put on a wonderful performance of music from the '50s, '60s, & '70s while everyone enjoyed an after-dinner drink served by our great bartenders. Dancing, shenanigans, and lots of laughter were seen throughout the entire night. This made for a great evening of fun for everyone. Guests were able to experience our facility, including Social Way's amenities.
We're looking forward to seeing our restaurant reviews in the Yankee Connection! The facility will be hosting an outdoor concert and another wonderful meal planned for our neighbors on September 30th! Thanks to everyone that made this enjoyable night happen!
